Teaching
William Frampton teaches viola and violin in New York City and Northern New Jersey, including at The College of New Jersey, Aaron Copland School of Music of Queens College, CUNY and Bard College. His students have won top prizes in international competitions and jobs in major symphonies in the USA and abroad. William has been teaching viola and violin since 1998, and is driven by a passion to facilitate greater understanding of music.
Students learn comprehensively from the basic elements and standard studies to advanced repertoire. Students can also expect preparation for auditions, chamber music, and orchestral playing.
Ensemble conducting, chamber music, music theory, and repertoire coaching on any instrument are also available.
Lessons are available virtually, in the New York City metropolitan area, and in Rutherford, New Jersey.
